In 1996, Children's Hearing Foundation (CHF) was established by the founder of Wonderland Group, Kenny Cheng, and his beloved wife Joanna Nichols in Taipei, Taiwan. The foundation is committed to helping all children with hearing loss in Taiwan learn to listen and speak, and making auditory-verbal approach applicable to all Mandarin-speaking countries. Eventually, every child with hearing loss will be able to step out of the silence world and explore their full potential.

CHF has established four centers throughout Taiwan, including Taipei, Kaohsiung, Yilan, and Chung Yuan Christian University. CHF provides auditory-verbal intervention sessions, audiological management, social work, family support, and collaboration with various institutions.  Moreover, to serve children with hearing loss in remote areas, CHF has begun providing tele-practice service so that children with hearing loss can learn without any restrictions of time or space. CHF has helped more than 5,000 children with hearing loss listen and speak, creating an immense positive impact on society.
